- 1 February – Monument to John Cockerill vandalised during farmers' protests in Brussels.[2]
- 12 March – Dries Van Langenhove Belgian far-right political activist and former politician from the Vlaams Belang is jailed for 1 year.[3][4][5]
- 18 March – A police officer is killed and two more injured during a shooting in Charleroi. The suspect is shot and critically injured by police.[6]
